Our lambs are born on pasture where there is plenty of fresh air and sunshine, never to see disease infested barns and bedding. Their mothers protectively nurse and teach them the ways of sheep. For 4 months the lambs sample the delicacies of the pasture until weaned of their mothers' milk. With their rumens fully developed, the lambs forage the bounties of the pasture, including grasses, legumes, forbs, and maybe even the leaves of bushes and trees when they get a chance.
